| AMERICAN ACADEMY OF PHYSIOLOGIC DENTISTRY:
MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is to learn and teach all phases of physiologic dentistry. This includes physiologically balanced dental occlusion for dentulous and edentulous at the ideal vertical; establishing Guzay’s Quadrant Theorem as a principle guide; all phases of dental prosthetics; removable and fixed orthopedics; and understanding ancillary health care treatments, thereby encouraging and alerting all members of the dental profession and other health practitioners to enhance their knowledge and skills which will help to improve the health and well being of people requiring our services.
To provide dentists interested in physiologic dentistry with a form of interaction, education and scientific research. To establish continued education and standardized facts and theories for publication to members of the Academy.
GOALS
The goal of the Academy is to provide continuing education and training for all dentists interested in physiologic dentistry. To encourage membership of fellow dental colleagues with treatment techniques based upon the research findings of the American Academy of Physiologic Dentistry and the American Academy for Functional Prosthedontics (listed in the Mission Statement). To create standards of diagnosis, treatment and stabilization for validation of the principles of physiologic dentistry and to disseminate this information to all members of the Academy.
