| It's always nice to know something about the big guy who has his fingers in your mouth and whom you hope will treat your mouth the way you would yourself…especially considering the assortment of sharp pointy metal tools he has close at hand.
Dr. Burns has been in people’s mouths since graduating from the Indiana University School of Dentistry with his D.D.S. degree in 1975. In addition to a long list of services he is able to offer to his clients (see services page), he has been the team dentist for the Fort Wayne Komets Hockey team since 1977, (talk about serious dental repair practice…your puck sir!), and for the Fort Wayne Flames Soccer Team in 1986-1989.
Dr. Burns has a serious interest in not only what may be considered standard dental practice, but in areas which have taken him to Canada, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Switzerland and around the United States as a lecturer on Physiologic Dentistry and TMJ Therapy.
In an effort to maintain the standards he has set for himself and to continue his learning, he is a member of the following professional organizations.
