| Dr. David L. Burns has been in practice since 1975. His practice is located in Professional Park West in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The office hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 8-5, Wednesday 8-2, and Friday 8-12. The practice has a professional, caring staff dedicated to teaching patients techniques to maintain their optimal health and same day visits for emergency patients. He has been a member of the ADA (American Dental Association) since 1975, IDA (Indiana Dental Association) since 1975, the Isaac Knapp Dental Society since 1975, the Cranio-Facial Pain Center Association since 1988, The American Academy of Physiologic Dentistry since 1977, the Academy Of Stress And Chronic Disease since 1978, the American Academy of Functional Prosthodontics since 1992, the American Academy of Head, Neck, Facial Pain and TMJ Orthopedics since 1991, the American Academy of Pain Management since 1991 and International College of Craniomandibular Orthopedics (ICCMO) since 1993.
Dr. Burns has lectured in the United States, Canada, Japan, Korea, Mexico and Switzerland on Physiologic Dentistry and TMJ Therapy. Dr. Burns has helped the Notre Dame football players in construction of their mouth guards through Dr's. Jack Stenger, Ed Lawton and Joe Stewart.
